City Wide Opens New Territory Serving the Portland Area

Local Entrepreneurial Couple Launch Building Maintenance Management Company

PORTLAND, Oregon – Building maintenance in the Portland area is about to be redefined.

City Wide Maintenance, America’s premier building maintenance Management Company, today announced the opening of a new office serving commercial properties throughout the Portland area. Local building owners and property management companies now have access to a single-source solution for all of their building maintenance needs.

“When it comes to building maintenance management, City Wide is in a league of its own,” said Jennifer Slansky, president of City Wide of Portland. The brand has developed a strategic solution to end the frustration commercial property owners and property management companies feel when it comes to building maintenance. City Wide eases the amount of time and energy spent managing vendors, fielding service calls, and negotiating rates.”

City Wide has made a name for itself in major U.S. cities by streamlining commercial facilities and maintenance management of more than 20 services through a collection of service providers and alliance partners, including floor care, window washing, janitorial supplies, parking lot maintenance, and several others. Taking the onus off building owners and property management companies that typically have to choose separate companies for each task, City Wide eases the selection and management processes for its clients.

“We are excited to help our clients by sitting on the same side of the table as them, becoming an extension of their management team, and relieving the stress that goes along with building maintenance,” added TJ Slansky, who has partnered with his wife Jennifer to launch the new venture. “Building owners and management teams have a significant amount of responsibilities to manage. If our expertise in the industry can make their job easier by ensuring results go above and beyond their expectations, at prices within their budget, then we have done our job successfully.”

Prior to launching City Wide of Portland, Jennifer worked with City Wide Maintenance of Kansas City for eight years as a sales executive. Her passion for the business grew to new heights this spring when she decided to plunge into entrepreneurial waters and replicate the concept in Portland with her husband TJ. With Jennifer’s extensive sales experience and TJ’s leadership and coaching skills, the couple is ready to bring world-class service to their customers through the expansion of City Wide Maintenance into the Portland market.

Beyond the loyalty it builds with clients, City Wide plays an important role within the local economies it serves by putting business back into the community. Smaller, independent and locally owned maintenance companies pair up with City Wide, benefitting from the professional demeanor City Wide brings to the table with its clients.

I fell in love with the Home Office team. I believed in the concept of the model. I loved the team’s professionalism, enthusiasm, integrity, ethics and, most importantly, family values. When we left [Discover Day] I was scared we would not be selected. We were so excited when we got the call that we had been. It has been the best decision we have ever made for our family.
