City Wide Opens New Territory Serving Miami

City Wide, the nation’s premier building maintenance management company, announced today it has grown and opened a new office serving commercial properties throughout Miami-Dade and the surrounding communities.

Located at 7900 Oak Lane Ste. 472, local building owners and property management companies will now have access to a single-source solution for all of their building maintenance needs. Cary Fourman, owner of City Wide Maintenance of Jacksonville since 2008, also owns and operates the new Miami location.

“The bottom line is property management companies in the Miami area need our help,” said Fourman. “The demand is high and there is no other company in the market offering over 20 building maintenance solutions and one point of contact. Beyond that, City Wide eases the amount of time and energy spent managing vendors, fielding service calls, and negotiating rates.”

City Wide has made a name for itself in major U.S. cities by streamlining commercial facilities and maintenance management of more than 20 services through a collection of service providers and alliance partners, including floor care, window washing, janitorial supplies, parking lot maintenance, and several others. Taking the onus from building owners and property management companies that typically have to choose separate companies for each task, City Wide eases the selection and management processes for its clients.

“We are thrilled to be able to take the stress off commercial property owners and management companies in the area,” added Fourman. “If our expertise in the industry can make their job easier by ensuring results go above and beyond their expectations, at prices within their budget, then we have done our job successfully.”

In addition to launching City Wide of Miami, Fourman continues to own and operate City Wide Maintenance of Jacksonville and has established a diverse client base, which includes businesses in the healthcare and commercial sectors. Prior to his journey with City Wide Maintenance, Fourman owned several businesses in the logistics, restaurant, and staffing industries. He looks forward to leveraging his extensive experience in business ownership, building management, and commercial cleaning to drive growth for the new Miami office.

Beyond the loyalty it builds with clients, City Wide plays an important role within the local economies it serves by putting business back into the community. Smaller, independent, and locally owned maintenance companies pair up with City Wide, benefitting from the professional demeanor City Wide brings to the table with its clients.

Success Stories

Having had the opportunity to be part of the City Wide Home Office, selling City Wide for eight years, I would share this view:
My advice is simple on how you can be a success owning a City Wide Franchise. First, find a great partner with a work ethic you admire. Keep the message simple and be relentless at sales. Find the spot where you are uncomfortable and be there often. Chose to do the work in sales because it is difficult. This is where you will find both a passion for the business model and an addiction.

Much like the saying, “dreams come true, not free,” City Wide offered me the opportunity to chase a dream to build a business for my family though hard work and perseverance. The fruits of that hard work have not only created a profitable and growing family legacy business but, more importantly, the platform for us to improve the quality of life of our employees’ families as well as to give back in a meaningful way to our middle Tennessee community. The ceiling is high for those who want to chase their dream

Jeff and I saw firsthand through my work for City Wide Franchise Corporate how this business can provide real wealth opportunities for us; there is no greater endorsement than a former employee who decides to buy a franchise from the company! With City Wide, we get to make a difference in our community, not just for ourselves and our family, but for our clients and our team. The work is rewarding because we believe in what we are doing for our clients every day.

What appealed to us about City Wide was the opportunity to work together and build a family business. No corporate bosses, no long distance travel, and the freedom to be there for our children when we want. Personal effort is directly rewarded with results and as you grow you get to share that success with an ever-growing team of direct staff, independent contractors, and happy clients.

I fell in love with the Home Office team. I believed in the concept of the model. I loved the team’s professionalism, enthusiasm, integrity, ethics and, most importantly, family values. When we left [Discovery Day] I was scared we would not be selected. We were so excited when we got the call that we had been. It has been the best decision we have ever made for our family.
