City Wide, the nation’s premier management company in the building maintenance industry, announced the opening of a new office serving commercial properties throughout Central New Jersey.

Local building owners and property management companies now have access to a single-source solution for all of their building maintenance needs. Local entrepreneur Tom Bridgeforth, with help from his wife Marie, will own and operate the new location in East Brunswick, which opens for business March 6.

The Central New Jersey City Wide office, located at 28 Kennedy Blvd. (Ste. 250) in East Brunswick, will host its grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony on Wednesday, March 8, from 1-2 p.m. At the event, facility owners can learn more about the company and the increasing demand for building maintenance services.

“There are so many businesses in Central New Jersey that could benefit from City Wide’s services,” said Bridgeforth. “Compared to other building management companies, City Wide goes beyond our competitors by offering more than 20 facility services and truly acting as our clients’ one point of contact for all of their maintenance needs.”

City Wide has made a name for itself in major U.S. cities by streamlining commercial facilities and maintenance management of more than 20 services through a collection of independent contractors and vendor partners, including floor care, window washing, janitorial supplies, parking lot maintenance, and several others. Taking the onus from building owners and property management companies that typically have to choose separate companies for each task, City Wide eases the selection and management processes for its clients.

“Businesses can turn to City Wide to ease the headaches of everyday commercial maintenance,” added Bridgeforth. “Our goal is to help business owners focus on their main priorities while we handle the amount of time and energy spent managing vendors, fielding service calls, and negotiating contractor rates.”

Bridgeforth joins City Wide with an extensive professional background of high-level strategy and program management roles. He looks forward to leveraging his expertise in leadership, process improvement, and exceptional client service to drive growth for the new Central New Jersey office.

Beyond the loyalty it builds with clients, City Wide plays an important role within the local economies it serves by putting business back into the community. Smaller, independent, and locally owned maintenance companies pair up with City Wide, benefitting from the professional demeanor City Wide brings to the table with its clients.

Success Stories

Having had the opportunity to be part of the City Wide Home Office, selling City Wide for eight years, I would share this view:
My advice is simple on how you can be a success owning a City Wide Franchise. First, find a great partner with a work ethic you admire. Keep the message simple and be relentless at sales. Find the spot where you are uncomfortable and be there often. Chose to do the work in sales because it is difficult. This is where you will find both a passion for the business model and an addiction.

Much like the saying, “dreams come true, not free,” City Wide offered me the opportunity to chase a dream to build a business for my family though hard work and perseverance. The fruits of that hard work have not only created a profitable and growing family legacy business but, more importantly, the platform for us to improve the quality of life of our employees’ families as well as to give back in a meaningful way to our middle Tennessee community. The ceiling is high for those who want to chase their dream

The work is rewarding because we believe in what we are doing for our clients every day.

What appealed to us about City Wide was the opportunity to work together and build a family business. No corporate bosses, no long distance travel, and the freedom to be there for our children when we want. Personal effort is directly rewarded with results and as you grow you get to share that success with an ever-growing team of direct staff, independent contractors, and happy clients.

I fell in love with the Home Office team. I believed in the concept of the model. I loved the team’s professionalism, enthusiasm, integrity, ethics and, most importantly, family values. When we left [Discovery Day] I was scared we would not be selected. We were so excited when we got the call that we had been. It has been the best decision we have ever made for our family.
