City Wide Named Top Franchise Opportunity

Nothing speaks louder about the quality of our franchise opportunity than the outstanding levels of franchisee satisfaction across the board. It fills us with great pride and joy to know our franchise partners are fulfilled in the City Wide system, making their entrepreneurial dreams come true each passing day.

Franchise Business Review (FBR), a franchise market research firm, announced that City Wide has been named to their annual list of Top 200 Franchise companies. The list, entitled The Best of the Best, Top 200 Franchise Systems for 2016, ranked hundreds of participating franchise companies by their overall levels of franchise owner satisfaction.

In addition, City Wide was named as one of FBR’s Top Franchises for Veterans, where findings are based on survey data from more than 3,000 veteran franchisees representing 285 franchise brands. City Wide was the only company in its category to receive the prestigious designation.

“We are honored to be named one of the best in our industry, and highlighted for our commitment to providing entrepreneurship opportunities for veterans,” said Jeff Oddo, CEO and president of City Wide Franchise. “We have high franchisee satisfaction across the system with many of our existing franchisees exploring multi-unit ownership deals.”

The franchise research firm surveyed 28,500 franchisees from 350 brands that have at least 10 franchises in North America. The survey ascertained franchisees’ thoughts on financial opportunity, training and support, leadership, operations and product development, core values (e.g., honesty and integrity of franchisor), general satisfaction and the franchisee community.

What appealed to us about City Wide was the opportunity to work together and build a family business. No corporate bosses, no long distance travel, and the freedom to be there for our children when we want. Personal effort is directly rewarded with results and as you grow you get to share that success with an ever-growing team of direct staff, independent contractors, and happy clients.

I fell in love with the Home Office team. I believed in the concept of the model. I loved the team’s professionalism, enthusiasm, integrity, ethics and, most importantly, family values. When we left [Discover Day] I was scared we would not be selected. We were so excited when we got the call that we had been. It has been the best decision we have ever made for our family.

What I love about this business is I am doing the same thing I was doing in corporate America, but now I am building a business for myself. Repeat contracts, no hourly employees, no more travel, in control of my own destiny… somebody pinch me!
