Our story is rooted in the Kansas City area where City Wide has enjoyed tremendous success since 1959. We continue to experience great success and have grown to a strong national presence with Franchise Owners in multiple markets coast to coast. . Throughout our growth, it has been our core values, which remain at the heart of our successes.

Our story began in 1959 when Frank Oddo founded the company. Frank, a recent graduate of the University of Missouri, couldn't find work so he started his own professional commercial cleaning company in Kansas City.

City Wide grew and prospered and by 1996, it was apparent that franchising the company business model was the ideal way to share our opportunity with others nationwide. Jeff Oddo, now President of City Wide, shifted the company from being a local operational company to a national sales and management company.

In 2001, City Wide began to offer franchises in other US cities, and is now represented from California to Boston, Texas to Ohio.
Each market has a local owner(s) who has purchased exclusive rights to the City Wide name, has duplicated our business model, and has implemented the proven procedures that have produced success for nearly half a century.

Today, City Wide is one of the country’s’ most professional B-2-B facility service companies, providing building maintenance services to hundreds of buildings throughout the United States. Each night our Independent Contractors clean millions
of square feet of commercial space.
